Venus is the second planet out from the Sun. Venus is often refered to as the "evening" or "morning" star. As the picture above shows Venus is totally covered in clouds. The clouds are the white puffy variety found on Earth though, these clouds are made of droplets of sulfuric acid. So assuming you could survive sulfuric acid rain, a temperature around 900F, and an atmosphere made mostly of carbon dioxide, you'd probably be crushed to the size of a ping-pong ball since the surface pressure is 90 times that of the Earth. In other words, Venus isn't a place you'd want to spend your summer vacation either. Venus has no moons, and like Mercury has a phase to it when viewed through a telescope.
