Pluto is the last planet in the solar system. No spacecraft has ever been there. What we know about it is limited by its extreme distance from the sun. Pluto was discovered in 1930, and its moon Charon wasn't discovered until 1978. Pluto is small, there are 7 moons in the solar system bigger than it is. Like Uranus, Plutos axis is at nearly a right angle to its orbit. If you manage to get to Pluto on your summer vacation, be sure to pack warm, the temperature will probably be around 500 below zero, so you might want to pack an extra blanket or two.
